In addition to panels, we have organized a Beinecke visit (2-4pm 4/19) and a seminar workshop (10:30am-12pm 4/20), culminating in our keynote musical performance event at 4:30pm on 4/20, where we will offer the world premiere of a multimedia artwork entitled Shakespeare’s Garden, by composer Sherry Woods and visual artist and engineer Nancy Griffin.
We have some open spots remaining for our visit to the Beinecke and our seminar workshop on “Environmental Thinking and the Grounds of Comparison.” If there are any faculty or students who would like to join for these events, they can use this Google Form to indicate their interest: https://forms.gle/3Z8Q5zdzidoK8Bvm9. There will be pre-circulated readings for the seminar provided to registered attendees.
Please direct any questions or concerns to John Hoffmeyer (john.hoffmeyer@yale.edu) or Taylor Yoonji Kang (taylor.kang@yale.edu). The program for the symposium follows.
